taking stock

Making:
blueberry pancakes in an effort to use up all our food before leaving for vacation
Cooking:
 very little these days, unfortunately
Drinking:
coffee, hot in the mornings and iced in the afternoons
Reading:
house descriptions on realtor.com (fyi: charming = scary/dungeon-esque)
Wanting:
 to be on vacation ALREADY!!
Looking:
to the future with giddiness and excitement and a dash of trepidation
Playing:
with Birdie in bed, we're co-sleeping right now so our mornings are extra fun & yummy
Wasting:
time watching cooking shows (ironic considering I'm not even cooking right now)
Sewing:
dinner napkins, I've been working on this project since January
Wishing:
this non-baby of mine would stop growing so fast
Enjoying:
quiet evenings relaxing with papa bear after Birdie goes down
Waiting:
for Sunday when I can finally dip my toes in the ocean
Liking:
the idea of doing non-white walls in the nursery when we move
Wondering:
if it's a boy or a girl dancing up a storm in my belly
Loving:
sleepy morning cuddles with my two favorite people
Hoping:
to find a home we love in Atlanta
Marveling:
at how much Birdie understands these days, words like - dog, flower, sleep, papa
Needing:
a pair of shorts to wear with this growing bump
Smelling:
every single flower we come across (also see: THIS)
Wearing:
maternity leggings, all day, every day
Following:
along with other pregnant mamas, seems like everyone is this summer!!
Noticing:
so much more around town, now that the move is becoming more and more real
Knowing:
that papa bear and I can get through absolutely anything - together
Thinking:
about all the unknown - where will we live, what will this new child be like...
Feeling:
baby kicks all day long, and I love it!
Bookmarking:
dining room tables (I just can't make up my mind!!)
Opening:
the door to our new life
Giggling: with a toddler who's giggles make my heart stop

Feeling: tired but hopeful and excited too

Wishing all of you a wonderful and relaxing long weekend!!

xo
