I have been dying to share about our trip to Nashville with y'all!! Not a day has gone by since we left that I don't miss it something awful. I have to be honest, I was not expecting to love this city this much. Over the past decade or so I've become a huge DC girl, yes New York is lovely and I've had great times in LA and Boston and other cities but nothing ever makes me feel all woozy the way DC does. Until Nashville that is. This city stole my heart in an instant, with it's warmth. The people are lovely, the food is phenomenal (and affordable, something DC has yet to figure out), the stores are varied and unique and the landscape is just breathtaking.
We stayed at the Union Station Hotel downtown and it's one of the most impressive hotels I've ever been to. I got dizzy taking in all the stained glass and intricate architecture in the lobby when we first arrived. Just like Nashville itself the hotel managed to preserve so much of the history of the place while still being fresh and updated. The staff were so friendly and helpful too and I would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Now onto the important stuff - food!!! We didn't have time to try out half the places I had on my list but regardless we enjoyed some of the best food ever! Every meal was so memorable and I'm already dreaming of our next trip there so that I can enjoy it all again:

I'm running out of adjectives so let me just wrap this up by saying that if you're looking for a fun city chock full of amazing places to eat and full of lovely people then book a trip to Nashville. Trust me, you won't regret it!!

P.S. There are a few more photos and recommendations on my instagram from our trip!
