beauty/skincare routine

Last night I was using my Origins scrub since my face was kind of going crazy (temperatures all over the place and the constant presence of sweat on my face will do that) and I remembered that I had promised a lovely lady or two a post about my skincare routine! After scrubbing away for a good fifteen minutes with my brush I had the face of a baby (trust me I know what a baby's face feels like) and my skin just felt so fresh and so clean, clean...
The scrub I use for emergencies as it's too intense to use on a daily basis but what I do use on a daily basis are the following:
  • Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser - the absolute best cleanser I've ever come across though I must warn you that I get dry skin in the winter and usually switch to something else. However, for all other times of the year it is perfect!
  • Super by Dr. Perricone Hyper Hydrator - I recently switched to this as my moisturizer. I thought I could never love anything as much as my Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream but this stuff this incredible. It's much lighter feeling and it smell incredible.
  • Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment - I've tried a lot of eye creams over the years and this is my favorite. Most eye creams felt too harsh on that delicate skin but this feels exactly like it's name - it's soooo creamy. It really helps with those awful crinkles you get when the skin gets dried out too.
  • La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo - this stuff is magic. Period. I have never had it not work on a pimple. Overnight. Every time. It's not over drying or harsh either. Papa bear and I were joking that since we don't have the best skin naturally we have tried every acne thing on the market since we were teenagers. Literally. Name me any product and I've tried it. And the unfortunate thing is none of them work. Except for this. It's pricey but you'll never buy anything else and this one tube has already lasted me close to two years so...
That's pretty much it! If you're interested in my makeup routine I posted it a while back here

Happy Friday!!
