...
Is it really March 1st today?! I feel like the month of February practically didn't exist! It's such a good feeling to know that we are getting closer and closer to spring. After all even summer is just three months away!
So we brought Keesya home this week and I couldn't be happier about it! I was a little nervous but she's been an absolute rockstar. She never goes in V's room and doesn't really cause any trouble at all. Even her reunion with Belle was a happy one. Those two are like peas and carrots and I'm so glad they have each other to play with again. I know miss Bella sure missed her buddy.
On Monday night I was making dinner and papa bear was playing with Birdie, Belle was napping by my feet in the kitchen and Keesya was lounging on the record player (as always) and the most wonderful feeling of peace and happiness overcame me. Everything finally felt right. The first few months with a baby are inevitably crazy; there is so much change, so much adjusting. On Monday it finally felt like we found our rhythm again as a family. It's not like it used to be... it's so much better. Somehow it feels as if life was always this way... always the five of us - two fur babies, one human baby and two big people. Our house is never really clean, nothing happens on time and it can get quite rowdy but that's how we like it. It isn't always perfect or pretty but this life is ours and I'm madly in love with family of mine.
